What Are The Side Effects Of Levofloxacin?

I have pneumonia and I am taking levofloxacin 500 mg for 10 days. I am a healthy 57 yr old woman. Is this medication normally prescribed? I have started the medication as of yesterday with no side effects, but the possible side effects are freaking me out with the possible tendon ruptures even after 6 months from using this drug.

as you mentioned you want to know the side effect of levofloxacin much concerend regarding muskloskeleton related problem.
Levofloxacin cause in less than 1 % chance to cause tendonitis,arthralgia,myalgia and skeletal pain.
case just under observational studies that it also cause tendon rupture but very low chances so no need to worry you continue it for 10 days a your Dr. prescribe you.
