What Are The Side Effects Of Hydrocodone-Acetaminophen?

I am taking hydrocodone-acetaminophen 5.325 and want to know the side effects. I have developed thrush, I believe and am being treated for it but the doctor that I talked to did not know I was taking this. It was prescribed because I have a cocked disc in my lower back.

Hello,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

Thrush can be caused by taking Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen. However it can be also caused by an yeast infection of the mouth. It occurs when illnesses, stress or medications disturb the balance between candida fungus and bacteria present in the mouth.

More common side effects of Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen are:
- Dizziness
- lightheadedness

Less common side effects are:
- blood in the urine or stools
- chills
- difficulty with breathing
- headache
- sores, ulcers, or white spots on the lips or in the mouth
- skin rash, hives, or itching

Please note that you should always tell your doctor about other medications you are taking.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
