What Are The Side Effects Of Flouxetine?

My name is marie denise gilbert, Yesterday my doctor prescribed flouxetine 20mg (Prozac) . I went on line to see what the side affects were etc. as the package of tablets had no information. I cannot find anything about the tablet I have been subscribed. It s an oval white flat tablet with 4400 printed on the back. This has worried me as all the tablets on line are encased in coloured plastic coating and are different colours. Could you please tell me if these are the real thing or a placebo? and why can t I find them on the internet? They are made by LILLY Expiry date:_ 08/ 2015 and were manufactured :- 09/2013 Thanky for your help denise gilbert YYYY@YYYY

Hello,

Prozac tablet is a capsule with green and white colors. If you have a doubt, better don't take it but confirm from the doctor who prescribed this. By the way, your medicine has already expired. So there is no point in taking it now.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
