What Are The Side Effects Of Emergency Contraceptive Pills?

Im on birth control but havn t been taking it properly the past month. I had unprotected sex 9 days ago. After we got done I noticed I was bleeding a little and was having minimal pain. I just though maybe he cut me with his finger nail. 5 days after sex it still was not better and now I had 1 small, hard bump with a yellowish head develope. Now 9 days after im sick which ive also been drinking a lot this weekend. My gland is swollen along with white patches on tonsil on the same side. Im also having burning when urinating. My friends that surround me have also all been getting sick lately My question is could this be herpes? I havnt seen anywhere saying anything about a single bump or white on tonsil. Can it take loner than the 2-20 day to have an out break? Could this be 2 separate things?

Hi

Probably you both might have got candida fungal infection. Nothing to worry about. It can be safely treated with topical as well oral anti fungal like Cotrimazole or Flucanazole. Patch on tonsil could also be due to candida infection, often seen with oral sex. I would advise you to visit your Physician and get yourself and your partner treated. Also please note these lesions are not related to contraceptive.

Do let me know for any additional information anytime.

Take care.
