What Are The Side Effects Of Duolin?

Hello, My 11 year old brother is suffering from wheezing for a few days now and the doctor put him on Asthalin respules through the nebulizer. There hasn t been much change in my brother s condition and he has been coughing day in and day out.. Is it safe to give him a dose of duolin in small amounts three times a day ?? Since Asthalin seems to be helping in no way(that too, giving a full respule of 2.5ml)...If so please tell me the dosage.. And also the side effects of the duolin respule.. Thank you..

Asthalin/Duolin respules can be used 4 times a day for nebulization or more frequently as per the need in a case .Common side-effects are finger tremors.I feel steroid is the main stay of treatment in Bronchial asthma. In case repeated doses of asthalin/duolin nebulization is not relieving wheezes one should combine with inhaler steroids like budecort(Budesonide)respules for a short term.Consult your doctor.
