What Are The Side Effects Of Depo Injection?

Hi.got off the depo injection in April and have been having irregular periods after till last Month. I am a Month late with my period now and have had 2 negative pregnancy test but my breast is still very sensitive, lower abdominal cramp and feel nauseated when I smell things,what could be wrong

It can take weeks to months for the period to return to normal after the discontinuation of depo for some persons.

Pregnancy tests can detect HCG by day 11 to 14 so if the test was done in this time frame , it is truly negative. If it was done earlier than this then you may want to repeat it.

In the case that it is truly negative then the symptoms of breast tenderness ,abdominal discomfort and nausea may be related to the fact that your period is due.
