The drug is also used as cough suppressant but the drug should be used for short periods of time only. The drug is known to cause significant tolerance and this may result in dependence and it has abuse potential. In individuals taking it it can cause sedation, drowsiness, dizziness, euphoria etc side effects. Budamate consists of Formoterol and the drug is a beta agonist drug. The drug can cause increase in anxiety, restlessness, and tremors in individuals taking it.
