What Are The Side Effects Of Clindamycin?

I have taken 2 Clindamycin 300mg capsules since receiving them earlier today to combat the outer ear infection. The lobe is becoming firm to the touch. Should I be more concerned, or just continue with applying warm compresses and capsules every 6 hours?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You should continue the prescribed treatment. This means continue the course of antibiotics and warm compresses.

If you have any pain, you may want to consider the use of an anti inflammatory pain killer provided you have no previous history of reactions.
Examples would be ibuprofen,aspirin, naproxen

One of these can be obtained over the counter.

I hope this helps
