What Are The Side Effects Of Azathioprine?

I have COP which I contracted November of 2013. I had a relapse this August and went back on Prednisone 60mg. I am now tapering from 20mg to 15mg, 1 mg per week. I am taking Azathiaprine as well at 100mg. My eyesight goes in and out of blur but is blurry a lot of the time. I have red bumps on my face like pimples which I treat with something called Acetone cream I believe. I also have other side effects. Is this something that I am just going to have to endure because I seem to get into trouble at 10mg of Prednisone.
Thank you for your time.
