What Are The Side Effects Of Aromasine?

I was on Arimedex and also tried Femara and could not take them due to side effects. Iritis of the eye and muscle and joint pain. Will Aromasine cause the same side effects or is this drug different enough from the other 2 that I may not have the same reaction?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I understand your concern. Arimedex, Femara and Aromasine are all associated to a long list of side effects, most of which are the same. Side effects differ from person to person
While muscle pain and joint pain is a common side effect for all three, Iritis is not commonly associated with Aromasine, so the chance of experiencing this side effect is slim.
However, if you do experience muscle and joint pain while on Aromasine, please inform your doctor right away.
I hope this helps.
Wishing you all the best
