What Are The Side Effects Of Aciloc?

hi. my father is taking nexito plus since 2months. Doctor prescribed this medicine bcos my dad had been suffering from anxiety since last 2 year and in these 2 years these medicines were used to treat but alwayz stopped in unusual manner not tapered. rite now he prescribed aciloc also for urnine burning. now my father is feeling well but afraid of side effects of these medicines so please suggest how these medicines can be tapered. I am in consultation with a psychiarist but just want to know ur opinion. thanks

You are concerned about your father and his use of nexito and aciloc. The nexito is a medication called escitalopram and is used frequently for both anxiety and depression. This is not a medication that requires tapering to quit. There is no withdrawals or rebound with stopping.

The Aciloc is an antibiotic in the penicillin class. There is no drug to drug interaction between the Aciloc and nexito. He can take the medications without any concerns.
