What Are The Side Effects For Taking Overdose Of Allergy Medicine?

Hello. I just used the wrong dose cup and gave my 16 year old daughter 40ml's of allergy medicine instead of 40mg's. There are 12.5 mg's in each 5 ml's according to the label so I basically gave her 1000 mg's!! Poison control says not to worry but I can't help it! She is a big girl and weighs 150 lbs. Is she going to be okay?

peak effect of anti-histamine is about an hour after. These are very safe. some of the allergy elixirs have tylenol.

1000 mg tylenol is ONE extra strength over the counter tylenol dose (safe). 4000 is very UNSAFE and requires emergency countermeasures with acetylcysteine antidote (for tylenol, anti-histamine doesn't require antidote).
100 mg of benadryl is just somewhat over the regular hospital dose. Poison control knows the ingredients better than I do on particular cold medications.
