General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, she may need blood work up with liver and Kidney function tests as well as blood gases to see for acidity of the body. If any abnormality, is detected it should be treated accordingly.

Meanwhile cold milk, avoiding spicy or high fat or protien diet as well as soda beverages must be ensured. Antacids may be used for few days. If problem persists upper GI endoscopy may be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin
