What Are The Reasons For Lump In Groin And Heavy Periods With Clots?

Hi I am asking a question for my girlfriend she is 21 and about a week ago she has found a lump in her groin it dosnt hurt or anything but she is worried what could this be please any advice would be appreciated her last to periods have also bin vert heavy with alot of blood loss and clots?

I think both are not related. Lump in her groin area can be due to lymph node enlargement. Lymphnodes are firm consistency glands which drains fluid from body. Some time when there is any infection in body, these becomes enlarge and feel palpable as she is feeling. She need not be worried. An ultrasound examination can confirm this. As far as clots during her menstrual cycle is concern , i think a gynaecologist opinion is needed for that.
