What Are The Possible Side Effects Of Antacid And Alka Seltzer?
I have problems with my bowels. It is very noisy, making all sorts of sounds. My stools vary from liquid like water to solid. The only thing which seems to hep is Antacid, Alka Seltzer. I try to take a minimum. Do you think that an extended use of that medicine is dangerous? What are the side effects?

Understand your concern.
I think your problem is because of irregular bowel movement /diarrhea.
You should not take antacid s for long time
Note the side effects of antacids:
Rebound Acidity
Constipation
diarrhoea
flatulence/indigestion
Abdominal cramp
vomiting
Malaise
Consult the gastroenterologist
Do the all test like CBC, ESR, Blood sugar, Endoscopic examination, baerium meal to diagnose the GIT pathology
