What Are The Options For Removing Lipoma In Back? Has Liposuction Been Used?

I have a lipoma in my back, near my shoulder blade. What options are available to me to remove it? i realize it is elective surgery, and i have been advised that excision was my only option (that was about 5 years ago) and that to have it excised would leave quite a scar. I wondered if liposuction as ever been used for removal of lipomas? And if so, what is the prognosis for the procedure for a lipoma?

Hello,
Liposuction can not remove a lipoma because it is not entirely fat only and has some fibrous tissue also.
Lipoma has to be removed by surgical excision only.
A proper surgery with proper sutures won't leave a big scar.
Thanks
