What Are The Most Common Causes Of Sciatica?

I am a 60 year old male and have been suffering with siactica for over a year. I have been to accuputure, pain management, lower back decompression, spine doctor and had three spinal injections. Also doing therapy to date and now realize it s pirformus related. Just had a 2 hour MRI done today for the spine doctor to review, already had lower lumbar and nothing to see that would cause all my pain.

Hello,

Sciatica is caused by compression of lumbar spinal nerves. Compression can occur due to various causes like slip disc, osteoarthritis etc. Pain killers and physiotherapy are used for management of sciatica.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
