What Are The Levels Of Thyroid To Determine Hyperthyroidism?
what level or number do you consider when determining a person as hyperthyroid? Mine is 7. I ve been getting blood test and having my synthroid dosage changed at 6 to 8 week intervals starting at .200 mg and now the doctor wants me at .50mg . Previously I took .088 I had no symptoms at the start of this process or during or now. I feel fine. I m 73 and have been taking med for hypothyroid for 30 plus years. I know what hypothyroid symptoms feel like. I know the dangers of hyperthyroidism.

TSH levels should be within 0.5 to5, and varying little bit according to different laboratory . I hope I answered ur question, if anything else, feel free to ask again.
