What Are The Health Benefits And Side Effects Of Practin And Dexona?

Hi, From last 7-8 months i have lost 10 kgs of weight. I have taken all the tests prescribed by Doctor which came normal. Now to gain weight i am planning to take practin and dexona. What are the benefits and possible side effects of these two, kindly help in this case.....

Hello,

Let me tell you that while it is ok to take practin because it contains cyproheptadin and it will increase your apetite which might help you gain weight.

But at the same time I am surprised that you are going to take dexona to increase your weight.

Dexona is a corticosteroid and it should be only prescribed when indicated. Weight is one of the side effects of dexona and it can harm you in many other ways such as it will lower your immunity and at may also cause gastritis in long use.

So I will not advise you to take dexona for weight gain. I suggest talk to your dietician who will gide you to a healthy weight gain.
