What Are The Effects Of Taking Primolut-N During Early Pregnancy?
I took primolut n 2 tablets for 3 days not knowing that I was pregnant. Early stages of pregnancy. Probably the first month. Will this effect my baby??? I am not sure sure how far along I am in my pregnancy I think 4-6 weeks. I am not sure what to do now I am worried that this may effect my baby
Hello, I read your post with great attention. Unfortunately there is no evidence whether taking Pirmolut-n for a few times during early days of pregnancy would cause a damage and/or the type/gravity of it to the embryo. FDA (Federal Drug Administration) classifies it as very teratogenic and suggests it should be stopped when you plan to become pregnant or are already pregnant. However, teratogenic drugs usually exert their effect some time after administration and taking Primolut-n a few times probably will not have an adverse effect on the embryo. There is no way to know if Primolut-n has had any effect to your baby. Therefore, my advice is to go on with your pregnancy and consult your obsteter-gynecologist for frequent check-ups in order to detect early any potential problem. I believe you and your baby are fine! Good luck!
