What Are The Early Signs Of Liver Cirrhosis?

Unfortunately, I think I know what my symptoms mean, however, I'm hoping it is not as serious as I think. I have had a burning and soarness in my right lateral back under my rib cage area, For a few years now, but intense only six months. Also a small area feels like a brick. Can that be a early sign of cirrhosis ? I had hep c back in 1999 but not detected since then. my ast and alt are between 11-18. What are early signs of cirrhosis?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Liver cirrhosis mostly doesnot have early symptoms. Weakness and loss of weight may be early symptoms. However jaundice, accumulation of fluid in body, spider nevi or vascular lesions are common in progressing cirrhosis.
Liver cirrhosis increases resistance to blood flow and higher pressure in the portal venous system & hence cause splenomegaly esophaeal varices etc as early signs.
In most cases AST & ALT are elevated but not necessarily. As you have history of Hepatitis c, you are advised to have full checkup to rule out Cirrhosis progressing in you.
