I had a protected sex with a prostitute on jun 2001 . my condom was broke . exactly after 2 years 9 month i went for blood test for my visa which came back negative. Again after 3 years that is 2007 may I undergone another blood test , that also negative. Now it becomes 9 years after that incident. is there any chance I still need to be worried about it?

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are characterized by one of the following features: 1. Rash on the genitalia 2. Ulcers of genitalia- painless or painful 3. Discharge from vagina/ penis 4. Lymph node enlargement 5. Development of fluid filled vesicles
STDs are transmitted by unsafe sex. Thus, in order to prevent STDs safe sex should be practiced by using barrier method of contraception.
