What Are The Early Signs And Symptoms Of STD?

I had sex with a prostitute last week. I received an unprotected blow job and had protected vaginal sex. The whole event from start to finish lasted 15 minutes. I washed myself off following the encounter. I read my chances of contracting HIV are almost none existant, and my chances of getting herpes is about two percent. I got an occasional cold sore as a child so I have HSV1 and wore a condom. I also read transmission from oral sex of other STDS is possible but herpes wouldn t be one since HSV2 does not spread from giver to receiver in that fashion. I did not notice anything out of the ordinary with her though when I was done I did notice she had a needle which she claimed was for her insulin as she was diabetic. I don t believe her and am freaking out. It was my first time and my last and I have been running the possibilities through my head constantly. Every ingrown hair on my legs, every ichy feeling, and thought of illness coming on is driving me crazy. I haven t experienced anything that would be considered a symptom of any STD. My penis is fine, my brain is not. I have bumps on my inner thighs that I pulled the hairs out of. They look like nothing more than goose bumps and each bump was around a follicle. I don t even know if they were there before and noticed them the day after. Pulling out the hairs and squeezing the follicle I am sure didn t ease my mind because they got puffy. They are healing now and never increased in size. The ones I left alone are fine. Nothing is present that looks like warts or herpes, and it doesn t burn when I pee but I am still stressed. What are my odds of having contracted something? It is definitely something I will avoid in the future. I did not come in contact with any of her bodily fluids with the tip of my penis other than her saliva.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
I can understand the intensity of mental disturbance you had.
You had protected vaginal sex and unprotected oral sex. Chances of getting STD and HIV are low. Contact with Saliva is not a high risk factor. So far you were not having any symptoms over your genitals. So nothing to worry.
But rather than my words, you will get relaxed after seeing the negative results of tests for STD/HIV.So consult your physician and get investigated for STD/HIV as per his/her guidance 4 weeks after the sexual encounter. You will get negative results and they would relieve all your mental tests. Dr S.Murugan
