What Are The Dry Patches In The Back Of My Throat?

Hi. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroditis about a year ago and I am having a new symptom that has started just in the last 2 days and I am wondering if it could be related to my diagnosis or a change in my thyroid itself. I am now having dry patches in the back of my throat and in my throat that will cause me to cough very hard at times. My tongue will also feel as if it is stuck to my tonsils. I am not sick. I have no drainage. My mouth is moist and I am not taking any new medications. Your thoughts?

Hello

Your complaints dont look like related to hashimotos thyroiditis , however they can be due to a broad auto immune disorder, which can cause dryness of throat and mouth, I would like you to meet an immunologist, who will do some blood tests and guide you further.
Thanks
