What Are The Different Ways To Strengthen The Mother-son Bond?
I m a bedridden terminal mom of a 13 & 19yr old sons.I recently left my husband of 15yrs due to domestic violence. My 19yr son lives with me but is hardly here.He works app.35 40 hours a week & in college full time.Since we don t have family he s on all documents for home health & hospice. My 13yr son stays in the house with me,but always is playing games on the Internet:He is worried where he will be placed to live. This is breaking my heart. Can you plz give me any advice for me to bond & nuture them, because it seems like they both have some kind of resentment toward me,especially the 19yr old? HELP !!! PLZ!!!
I've read your query several times, ma'am and I can't imagine how hard it is in being in your situation. What keeps a family together is love and care. You can talk to them a little more when your sons are at home. You can listen them so they don't feel too stressed about their situations. Your older son must be feeling a whole lot of responsibilities on him so he might be stressed. Just talk to him and let him speak out his words so he won't feel stressed and also feel that you are there for him always. And about the younger son, he's in a crucial age group so you have to take some extra care of him. He's a little child, ma'am talk to him like a little child and he would understand better. You can motivate him to study or help you out in house chores. Telling him the goods and bass of life would help him at this age. Don't let him get indulged in "bad company" and you very well are aware of it what I mean to say. Everything would be alright. You can contact me if you like and we're here to help you.
