HIV Virus is present in all body secretions of infected person including saliva, but the viral load present in saliva is too small to transmit HIV, But remember Virus is definitely present in Saliva, So why take risk?
Life is not a cricket match that everything can be quantified in odds ratio. Better be safe then repent.
