What Are The Chances Of Survival For A Patient Overdosed With Heroin?

A person overdosed on heroin. Was dead for 6 minutes. Has been in a coma for 2 days. Only response has been squeezing someone s fingers yesterday when asked. Today has infection in lungs and liver. And heart is functioning at 10 % what is his chances for survival?

hi..as some of symptoms you elaborates are due to toxic effect of high dose of heroin. in such cases if ANTIDOTE was given then recovery starts within 36 -48 hours. but as you stated there is coma like condition and pneumonia and severe heart failure.
such patients need ventilatory supports and continuous monitoring.
here the condition of patient is worst..so hope for the best and continue ICU monitoring and wait for any sign of recovery..
