He has a defib and had a ablation which seems to be successful. What should we expect next and what are his chances for a long life?

Hello and welcome to HCM. Since your husband had anICD and ablation , which you are telling is successful . I would like to tell you that he has good prognosis as he has now a good EF and no recurrent V Tach. Just ask him to be regular with his medicines and doctors appointments.
