What Are The Chances Of Recurrence Of Thyroid Cancer Post Thyroidectomy?

After being diagnosed with Hashimoto s, then thyroid CA with total thyroidectomy in 2010 my thyroglobulin & antibodies had been undetectable until recently. Scan has been clean , even with elevated labs. Does this mean the thy ca is back? We are in monitoring labs mode and I worry.

If your Thyroglobulin level is rising, then please get a whole body radioiodine scan. And if that is negative then get a FDG PET Scan done to know what is the cause of rising Thyroglobulin level.
