Hello, So I have been on birth control pills and i never take my inactive pills. recently, within the last few month, my boyfriend and i have been sexually active. i began spotting five days ago and it began to worry me that i could be pregnant. i was still on my active pills and was not sure what it could be. I have 15 active pills left in my pack. but, two days ago, i started my placebo pills. So i have my period now. but i am reading online that after my placebo week is finished, i will not be protected against pregnancy because i did not take my pils in the correct order. I thought once you take the birth control pills again, you are protected. What do i do after i finish my placebo pills?
