What Are The Chances Of Mortality In A Stage 4 Colon Cancer?

my mother-in-law has been told she has stage 4 colon cancer which has metastised to her lungs (she has a cough whcih won't go away) and to her liver, she also has a spur going into her kidney. I don't want to ask what the doctors have said but need to have a sense of how long she may live - it's truly awful not knowing

Your mother in law is suffering from stage 4 colon cancer.
Average survival time is around 1 to 2 years at this stage.
Treatment consist of only palliative chemotherapy along with targeted therapy to control tumour size and improve quality of life.
