What Are The Chances Of Getting Pregnant After Unprotected Intercourse?

Hi. I was just looking for some advice. I am on birth control but I had unprotected sex last week with my boyfriend and he finished in me and I had also consumed alcohol that night. I am on the the 4th day of the last week of the birth control (the week i'm supposed to get my period) and still haven't gotten it and have no signs of it coming. What are the chances that I may be pregnant?

You are also supposed to have your period in that week itself. that also means your ovum is in the disintegration phase and cannot accept any sperm cells for fertilization.

Even though you had unprotected sex and the male sperm has entered into the vagina, the chances of pregnancy depends mainly on the menstrual cycle. The ovum is completely infertile approximately from first to seventh day after a period and 7 days before the next period. In your case, with the given information, the chances of pregnancy is NIL. Don't worry.
