What Are The Chances Of Developing Rectal Cancer From Genetic Reasons?

I was reading about hereditary rectal cancer but nothing I read sounds like my family history. Both my father and his mother, my grandmother developed a low rectal tumor around the age of 80. Because they went to the same doctor s clinic in the same small town, my dad was told his tumor was exactly like his mothers and in the same location. Is this going to happen to me?
