What Are The Chances Of Becoming Father After Treating Varicocele And Hydrocele?
Hi, I was diagnosed with varicocele and hydrocele ( there is no presence of extra fluid now) when I was 17. Now I am 34 and unmarried. It is said that people with untreated varicocele cannot beget kids. What is success rate of becoming a father if I go for treatment (operation) at this stage.

Hi, firstly Varicocele and Hydrocele do not cause problems in having kids mostly. In a few cases, Varcocele can lead to a low sperm count and then only surgery is advised to treat the condition. Your doubts can be put to rest by doing a Semen analysis test and it will tell you whether you can have a child or not. You cna share the report with us for further advice and we can guide you along.
