What Are The Chances For Nosebleeds To Re-occur After Nasal Cauterization?

Hello, yesterday I had both my nostrils cauterized due to constant nose bleeds. Today I was really bothered by not being able to breath; so after I showered I used a Q-tip and I gently removed the scabs and now I can breath great. I applied Vaseline afterwards. Should I worry that the nosebleeds are going to come back since I didn't leave the scab on long enough?

Hello

yes it is a possibility that you may bleed again , since you have removed the scabs, and i would like you to meet your ent doctor as you may need to be cauterized again. You have done a good thing by applying vaseline over the area , as this will help reduce the irritation and the bleeding. Please meet your doctor.

Thanks
