What Are The Causes & Treatment For Blood In Stool?
I have have a cough and just got done taking Azithromycin and cough surup with and now Nyquil cough and Mussinex. Now I have blood in my stool for about 3 hours. I do NOT have insurance cause laid off. Can I wait to go to the free clinic tommrow Thurs.

the medicines you mentioned have an adverse effect of GI discomfort and stomach pain but bleeding per rectum is not a direct correlation with them. It may be a separate entity and worth examination. Needs an examination and sorting out the cause for bleeding for lower GI tract. could be a haemorrhoid, could be inflammation, or a rectal ulcer or diverticulosis, Needs examination and a colonoscopy if need be to sort it out for sure.
