What Are The Causes And Remedy For Nose Bleeds?
I am having some light nose bleeding going on -- not running down my face, but sometimes when I blow. I do not have to blow hard to get some bloody mucus. I use Mentholatum at night because I get small cracks at the top of the nostril. Could this be the cause of the bloody mucus?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are suffering with nose bleeds. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like infection , trauma , allergic and nonallergic rhinitis. , hypertension and use of blood thinning medications. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI and do physical examination . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics. You should not touching or picking nose with any sharp object. Nose bleeding in case of head injury sometimes become a emergency condition if there are symptoms like dizziness , vomiting and neck pain. Need not to worry. For now do icing of node and compress it for few minutes to stop bleeding .
