I have blotchy red patches all over my back. The biggest patches are around my bra area. I've had this for awhile. I put cortizone cream on it for awhile and it went away but it came back with a vengence... It didn't itch before but now it itches but I think that's because my back is dry. Either way, what is this?
Hello, Thanks for the query, You might have developed acute urticaria. It is an allergic condition. Anything including food, cloth, change in climate, pollens etc can cause urticaria. You need to find out the cause. Treatment can be with oral anti histamines. Steroids like prednisolone are also helpful but cannot be used for long. Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis. Let me know if you have any other doubt. you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link. http://www.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-rahul-kumar/64818 Wishing you a good health.
