What Are The Best Possible Treatments For Restless Leg Syndrome ?

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism about 10 years ago and fibromyalgia about 5 years ago. My TH and T numbers are often off the charts -- therefore a suitable level of medication is difficult to sustain. Six months ago, I developed blister-like/cyst-like sores on my buttocks. Some have healed and more crop up. About 4 weeks before the onslaught of this, I moved from Dayton, Ohio to Warren, Michigan (Detroit suburb). I am also very itchy -- I used lotions and oils and take Epsom baths. I also muscle twitches and spasms. Oh, I was diagnosed with restless leg syndrome nearly 20 years ago. I am 54 years old. I am in the care of a primary physician who has prescribe anti-itch medication. He says the next course of action may be a visit to an allergist. I hate the pain and scabs and purple scars on my buttocks. The itchiness in all over. What should I be doing? Thank you. Michele

Drugs like, ropinirole are approved by the Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of moderate to severe RLS.gabapentin, may work for some people with RLS.Narcotic medications can relieve mild to severe symptoms, but they may be addicting if used in high doses.The combination medicine oxycodone and acetaminophen .
Some lifestyle modification are useful for restless leg syndrome like,
Sleep better by sticking to a regular sleep schedule.
Exercise in moderation. .
Cut back on caffeine.

Avoid alcohol and cigarettes. Consider dietary supplements. Check with a doctor or nutritionist to find out if you’re low on iron, vitamin B, folic acid, or magnesium. Deficiencies can bring on RLS.
Try practicing relaxation techniques such as yoga and meditation. Stress can make RLS symptoms worse. Daily stretching and meditation can promote relaxation and alleviate (RLS).
