What Are The Appropriate Emotions For An Ex After Divorce?

I was divorced 42 years ago. I have since married again. I have since fallen in love with my first wife again. This is not helping my marriage. I think of my first wife all of the time and miss her so much. I have tried to get in contact with her, but she refuses to contact me.

Hi,

Divorce is an act taken in practice after a deep thought for all pros and cons of the action on your own life. Once it is applied, one should not allow past relation with new life, they need to forget it totally. Try to adjust in new life on above line, this would help all four of you concerned.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
