General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it will be a musculoskeletal pain like sprain or contusion. You can continue acetaminophen. Warm compression can provide symptomatic relief. Muscle relaxants don’t have much role.

Generally, the symptoms will settle in a few days. If symptoms persist long, it will be better to go for for an MRI scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
