What Are Causes & Treatment For Fever With Rash & Swollen Gland In Infants?

my granddaughter has had a fever of 105, a rash, irritable, will not eat or drink.. the Doctors said it was an ear infection, an anitbiotic was given, 12 hours after taken the antibiotic she has a swollen gland on one side. still is ugly, will not eat or sleep- this is not her natural nature- I am concerned for her health- she is only 11 months old- do you have any advist/questions that need/should be asked at the visit?
