What Are A Yellow Bubble On Tonsil And Sore Throat Suggestive Of?

I have what looks like a yellow bubble on my right tonsil. I went to the dr last week for a swollen uvula that also looked red and inflamed. I got a steroid shot and a round of antibiotics. They yellow bubble on my tonsil is still there and my throat is still a little sore. Any thoughts?

As per your complain the symptoms of yellow bubble over the tonsil with recent history of red swollen uvula that seems to be due to Uvulitis that is inflammation of uvula caused due to bacterial throat infection also known as Strep throat..
The yellow bubble seems to be pus pocket..

Consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Throat swab culture can help in diagnosis..

You can be advised another course of antibiotics like Augmentin, anti inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen, doing warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and using a humidifier in your room can help..
You can also suck throat lozenges, chew Vitamin C pellet and avoid spicy and chilled foods..
