What Am I Having Slight Lower Back And Abdominal Pain?

I started with pressure and slight pain in the lower part of stomach, that would move into my back. I laid down for an hour and the pain and pressure eased off, however when I used the bathroom I noticed that I was lightly spotting. I am 2 months pregnant and will be seeing my local OB/GYN in a week.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.

If I were your doctor, I would go for an ultrasound of the abdomen to see the well being of the fetus. Till then I would advise you to take absolute bed rest and would if need be prescribe you with some uterine relaxant drug. Further management would depend on the ultrasound report.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.

Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
