Want Lozenge For Sore Throat

A friend gave me a lozenge for my throat. It was white/clear and had a large R on the tablet. it was sweet, tasted horrible but did a good job numbing my sore throat . the lozenge was wrapped in a red cellophane wrapper and came in a clear envelope of about 10 or 12 lozenges. I cannot reach the person who gave it to me. it was a while ago and i think it was over the counter, but i am not sure. would like to know what it was and what was in it. I have looked in all the pharmacies. Cant see anything like it.
