Vomiting In The Morning In Children, Flu, Virus Or Allergy ?

My child is throwing up and has thrown up every other day just in the early morning. I can t tell if it is drainage or id he is allergic to something. Is there a way to determine this. Is there a flu or virus going around that may cause something like this? He is only 4 and that is the reason why I am worried?

Hi,

I understand your reason to be worried. A child of 4 years, throwing up every other day is not a good sign. It needs to be evaluated.

There may be various underlying cause for this like gastrointestinal flu, rotavirus infection, food poising, pyloric stenosis and many more.

He needs to be evaluated by a gastroenterologist to decide on the cause and treatment.

Hope this helps.

Regards
