Upper Lip Numb, Burns On Licking. What Could Be Cause?

my upper lip is numb a bit and it gets dry very fast at times it also burns after licking it this has been happening for four days .. medical history is i have A mitric valve pro lapse condition .. i had pneumonia twice when i was a child .. thats all please help me out . this numbness is Getting annoying and it doesnt seem to go O.o

Thanks for the query,

You might have developed perioral dermatitis.

Apply a mild steroid like Triamcinolone gel.
This will give you relief.

Also use vaseline petroleum jelly.
