Upper Lip Hard And Dry After Applying Hydrocortisone On Red Bumps. How To Rectify?
Hello. Recently I got big red bumps on my upper lip area.. I used hydrocortisone with aloe one the affected area. The skin on my upper lip went hard and looked like leather, then the skin sort of came off like dry skin would and everything was fine again it was just a little dry. Last night I went to bed and this morning when I woke up the whole upper lip area was red with tiny little dots on it that look like small breakouts. the area is very painful. What can I do now?

Any bump or inflamatory process application of steroid is contra indicated. Your present problem is due to use of steroid. Simple application of veseline with warm compression would have been enough. Now that you have used steroid, tapper it down. Apply veseline lip gaurd with alovera solution. Now take combiflam tablet for pain.
