Unprotected Sex, Unwanted-72, Pregnant. Any Side-effect On Fetus?

Hello Doctor, My wife and me had unprotected sex on 9th day of menstrual cycle and she took Unwanted-72 within 12 hours and for the rest of the period we had protected sex. Now she is pregnant. I would like you to please tell me if Unwanted 72 has any side effect or untoward effect on fetus if pregenancy stays. Thanks & have a nice day!

hi,
even after taking i pill there is 1% chance of getting pregnancy.
as per the studies i pill will not affect the pregnancy and will not have any effect on fetus generally.
so you need not worry about this.
after your wife reaches 9 to 10 weeks take one scan,
and then anomaly scan at 18 to 20 weeks with regular antenatal checkups will clear the doubts.
take care.
