Underwent IVF And Advised To Take Susten Injection. Severe Pain In Buttocks And Fever. How To Get Rid Of Pain?

I RECENTLY UNDERWENT IVF.MY DOCTOR ADVISED ME TO HAVE SUSTEN 100 MG INJECTION ON ALTERNATE DAYS.THIS IS CAUSING SEVERE PAN IN MY BUTTOCKS.EVEN AFTER HOT WATER FERMENTATION AND ICE PACKS,NO RELIEF. I AM NOT ABLE TO SIT AND MOST OF THE TIME I LIE ON BED. NOW I HAVE FEVER. I COULD NOT GO TO OFFICE ALSO. THE P;AIN IS KILLING.HOW CAN I GET RID OF THIS PAIN

Hi, welcome to Health Care magic forum.
You are prescribed the injections or susten( progesteron ) to support the embryo for grouth. and to make a bed for the embryo.
The injection should be given, deep into the gluteal region. The pain may last for few minutes. if it is so long means it would have given not deep enough. Or there may be intolarance to your body fluids.
You consult your doctor, there are tablets as well, some doctors prescribe tablets and injections every week , or so.
